(BEIJING, July 3) -- The Audit and Supervision Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) will set up its offices at a total of 28 Olympic venues to enforce supervision over venue operations.
BOCOG will do this together with the supervision departments of the General Administration of Sport, Ministry of Education, Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the Beijing municipal government.
Twenty five offices have been set up already and the rest will be established later, the Beijing Daily reported.
Sixty seven supervision personnel have been assigned and received training, and in early June the relevant offices met with the individual teams of the venues to ascertain their duties. The full list comprises 82 supervisors.
